̉he National Statistical Institute and the Regional Statistical Office of Sofia District would like to introduce to the attention of the users of statistical information the electronic publication (in Bulgarian only) Statistical Review of Sofia District 2008 on a CD.
The issue contains statistical data on the demographic, economic and social development of Sofia District for the 2004 – 2007 period. Some indicators for 2008 are also published.
The publication is a continuation of the periodical edition Statistical Review of Sofia District – 2004 issued by the Regional Statistical Office of Sofia District.
The structure of the publication and contents are in accordance with general data presenting principles at regional level. The publication contains 22 chapters.
The published information is mainly from surveys, included in the National Program for Statistical Surveys of the National Statistical Institute as well as other ministries and institutions which are bodies of statistics.
The publication Statistical Review of Sofia District 2008 is addressed to a wide range of users, institutions and agencies involved in development and implementation of the economic and social policy of Bulgaria, non-governmental organizations, college and university students, as well as the general public.
